Biography
Dr. Yalew Molla working in Debre Markos University, Ethiopia, as lecturer and researcher. He have graduated in Master of pharmacology with a background of Bachelor degree in pharmacy program. He have more than 11 years of teaching, conducting research and providing community services in areas of health sciences. He is a coordinator of pharmacology unit in pharmacy department. Currently, as pharmacologist, He is doing researches on medicinal plants claimed to have therapeutic values in order to scientifically approve their folklore use and investigate new phytochemicals that can be used as lead compound for developing new drugs. In addition, He had the experience of conducting researches on humans in order to assess the quality of health services delivered in the health institutions, the adherence of patients on their medications, the nutritional status of poor communities, the prevalence of diseases in the community particularly on the susceptible individuals like pregnant and children, etc. In the future, He have a plan to be one of the researchers involved in conducting research in the arena of different themes as editor, researcher, and reviewer in collaboration with other researchers, editors or reviewers working in publishers.
Research Interest
Dr. Yalew Molla had highly interested in isolation and characterization of extracts of medicinal plants with the aim of getting lead compounds that can be developed as drug for different human disorders. He wants to deal with the rational use and postmarked surveillance of drugs in the world. In addition, He is interested in the assessment of health problems in the world
