Peptide and Protein Drug Delivery

This session and track is intended to assist pharmaceutical scientists in the development of stable Medicinal Preparations of Proteins and Peptides during the early stages of the product development process for Pharmaceutical technology providing a comprehensive review of mechanisms and causes of protein instability in formulation development, coverage of accelerated stability testing methods and relevant analytical methods, and an overview of the drug substance manufacturing process. Preformulation and the development of traditional solutions and lyophilized formulations frequently used for intravenous delivery and non-traditional formulations are also addressed.

The drug delivery technology market is expected to reach USD 1,504.7 Billion by 2020 from USD 1,048.1 Billion in 2015, growing at a CAGR of 7.5% from 2015 to 2020. Factors such as rising prevalence of chronic diseases, growth of the biologics market, new product launches, and drug innovation and technological advancements are driving the growth of this market.
